My little Bozz is a dream come true. He's already learning to go on the paper like a good boy, he's extra affectionate, he seems to be of the mind that as long as daddy has got me i'm fine (which is PERFECT because it means he'll be calm on transit, he LOVES to curl up in my sweater while i walk around).
We had our first vet visit today at the vet's office down the street, had our check up and our first set of shots & dewormer. He was an ANGEL for his visit, he took his dewormer paste without complaint, he didn't squirm in the least when they took his temp and he didn't flinch or cry when he got his shot, i am such a PROUD parent . The vet told me i needed to clip his nails asap, so i did soon as we got home & he only squirmed a tiny bit because he thought we were playing, once he realized it was serious business he settled right down.
We bonded INSTANTLY, when he was handed to me thursday morning he curled into my arms & if he'd been a kitten he would have purred. He is EVERYTHING i wanted in a therapy animal: calm, likes to ride in my coat (limits use of leashes), doesn't bark, doesn't cry (unless he needs to potty) and he's an amazingly fast learner. He sleeps next to my head so he doesn't get rolled over on (less of a concern as i have ALWAYS had animals to sleep with). He's an absolute gem and i look forward to many happy years with him, we'll do each other lots of good.
